• R.E.S.P.E.C.T. - this is a friendly community. While we judge the music, there will not be any tolerating of the judgement of people involved in the contest.

    • If you participate please participate. I have made this simple by creating a checklist of all the bare minimum requirements. Please take the time to look it over and if you cannot commit then please do not claim a country. You can still televote and play along!

    • This is a contest but also a community. If you are new to AI tools ask for help! There is a low barrier to entry here, we can assist through the process if its a first time. Its free to do, and a fun new skill to learn. In the same vein please be helpful to others seeking help. This is a space for us all to learn and grow

    • Write your country of choice in the discord channel for country claiming once open.

    • As a fun twist for this premier edition you will be able to claim any country real or fictional. Claim Isengard, Coruscant, or make up an imaginary country of your own! This does come with a catch. Should you create your own country it will require additional checklist items such as submitting a flag amongst a few other smaller tasks. Please be prepared for the extra work choosing this option but I hope it makes for a very unique competition.

    • Please do not switch countries mid-edition if avoidable. Instead take the time to really pick wisely during country selection

    • There are two options for finalist selection. The simpler of the two options is electing a finalist yourself which means you only submit one song into the competition.

    • For additional spicy competition drama you can choose to host a national final on your delegation's discord channel page. For this you will submit between 2 and 10 songs. You will be the moderator of your own voting and may run this mini competition however you live. Feel free to get as creative as you want.

    • All songs entered must be created with AI and be under 5 minutes in length. You can choose to edit your songs by hand but the track you are working with must be AI. They also must be original lyrics. If you have a specific question about this ask a mod first.

    • When you have identified a finalist either through electing one or through a national final you will need to submit your song. Submitting your song has a few very important steps. Not only do you need to submit a youtube video link of your full song you will also need: a 30 second clip of your song uploaded to youtube or discord, the full artist and track name for your finalist, and a picture of your "artist" created however you would like.

    • For your uploaded videos you can make this as complex or simple as you want. They can be a black screen or your artist picture for all I care, I just want to be able to make playlists of the songs you make. However, if you want to go all out and make a full on music video please by all means do that too.

    • The first edition of Future Vision will not have any advanced qualifications. However, this edition will determine the advanced qualifiers for Edition 2. The top 5 from Edition 1 will receive an automatic pass to the finals should they compete in season 2.

    • There will be three times contestants will be required to vote: Semifinal 1, Semifinal 2, and Finals. Competitors will also have an opportunity to contribute to the "odds" but this is not required.

    • Official voting will take place through the website voting tab. Polls will be open for one week following each of the shows. It will follow the traditional 12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 point system.

    • Televote will be an option for those who want to be involved but not compete

    • For those hosting National Finals to select their winner, it is a requirement to vote in all other competing National Finals. For Edition 1 we will be moderating to determine if in future editions we will need to add a point deduction for failure to do so. This is out of a desire to promote community. If you want people to listen to your songs, and rate them for your best chances, please be willing to do the same in return.

    • Failure to vote will result in deductions explained further in the deductions section.

    • Deductions will have a stacking effect

    • In future editions there may be penalties associating with not voting in national final competitions if you are hosting one yourself. It is still being determined if this will become necessary. Let's make that not the case.

    • Semifinal penalties include

      • Failure to submit full entry materials will open your country up to overthrow by other nations. This means other countries will get a rapid fire chance to submit one song each in a competition to take your spot.

      • 50% point deduction for not voting

      • If a nation should vote for themselves the points given to them will instead be taken from their score.

    • Final penalties include

      • 50% deduction for not voting

      • If a nation should vote for themselves the points given to them will instead be taken from their score.

    • Just like ESC, winning FutureVision means you have a few additional responsibilities towards the next edition. You do not however have to participate in the future edition and can fulfill all your duties during the edition you are participating in.

    • Winners will be resposible for identifying a host city for the next edition, supplying 5 photos of the city, and making a very short 10- 30 second postcard video for the next edition. These are all tasks mods can assist you with if you need technical help, but we want the next edition to reflect your nation the way you have represented it. You will also help in writing the next intro to the competition for the website.

    • if you want to get involved even more, there are ways you can own the next edition. Just talk to mods if you want to provide more than is required and we can talk about the details!

    • Winners will be memorialized with their song linked on the edition page, and their username and PFP will go into our hall of champions
